PB & J—Calculated a New Way
Don’t be deceived by the name—this peanut-free “PB&J” is made with sunflower seed butter.
Ingredients
One slice sourdough bread, lightly toasted
2 Tbs. sunflower seed butter (no sugar or preservatives added)
One banana
Organic, real grape fruit leather (no sugar added)
Directions
Spread sunflower seed butter evenly over toasted bread. For the calculator, cut seven round slices and one rectangle slice from the banana. Cut letters and numbers from fruit leather using stainless steel cookie cutters. Place shapes on top of banana slices.
Did you know? Traditional sourdough bread is made using fermentation and contains helpful bacteria like Lactobacillus, which helps with digestion and is believed to naturally support the immune system.
