Camp begins with a daily ballet class in which students are introduced to the technical aspects of ballet as well as the concepts of musicality and performance. Supplemental activities like arts & crafts, jazz classes, performance rehearsals, and field trips to Balboa Park make every day an adventure. Each week of camp culminates in an in-studio performance during which family and friends are invited to see what students have learned at camp and celebrate the accomplishments of the dancers.

Join us for a fun summer on the water! Choose from kayaking, sailing and rowing. Certified staff and low camper/instructor ratios ensure safety and fun for everyone. Rowing camp introduces sculling technique, terminology and water safety using wherries or single sculls with pontoons. Youth Sailing Camp teaches basic seamanship including rigging, recovery and knot tying. Campers practice as crew and helmsmen and learn the science of sailing. The Watersports Camp
The Watersports Camp is located at San Diego State University and UC San Diego's Mission Bay Aquatic Center and is sponsored by the YMCA of San Diego County. Campers learn from fun and encouraging staff and participate in specialized instructional camps including wakeboarding, surfing, sailing, kayaking, stand up paddling, windsurfing and marine science.
The Watersports Camp is the premiere camp for San Diego kids ages 6-17, with eleven week-long summer sessions and year-round youth and family water sports classes. Choosing from full-day and half-day options, campers have the opportunity to participate in the morning instructional session, where they choose one water sport to focus on for the week. In the afternoon recreational session, campers can register for the Afternoon Multisport Camp, Afternoon Wakeboarding and Tubing, or choose from one of our specialty instructional camps. We focus on providing campers with a safe, fun and exciting learning environment.
