What better way to collect Valentine’s than in your very own mailbox! Use for a school Valentine’s Day party or at home for the family. Family members can leave daily ‘love notes’ for each other in the days leading up to Valentine’s Day! The little ones will Love it!
Supplies:
a child size shoe box, without the lid
wrapping paper
construction paper or scrapbook paper
small piece of cardstock
tape and/or glue
scissors
markers, stickers

Here’s How:
1.| Wrap the bottom of the shoebox in wrapping paper, using tape to secure, just as if you were wrapping a gift box. Run a strip of glue along the length of two sides of the decorated construction paper. Attach the paper to the inside of the shoebox matching long length of the paper with the long lengths of the box. Tape into place.
2.| Have your child decorate the piece of construction paper using markers and stickers. You can also personalize it with a picture and your child’s name.
3.| Using the cardstock, cut out a flag-shape. Attach to the inside of one corner of the box and enjoy.
